I’m fairly picky particular about clothing. I tend to agonize over purchases and items have to be just so for me to feel that I ADORE THIS feeling and want to buy them. Drives my husband crazy, as he is always the same size no matter what store we are shopping in, everything always looks good, and he is a speed shopper! Give him a Banana Republic store and 10 minutes and he will come out with 4 shirts, a tie and 2 pairs of pants - all from the sale rack too!
Anyhow, all this rambling is preamble to gushing about this amazing dress I stumbled across this morning via the blog This is Glamorous. Check out this beauty, it is SO perfectly me!
I hadn’t looked at the dress longer than a second before I’d mentally purchased it and imagined wearing it to dinner on our upcoming trip to Napa {did I mention we are going to Napa in May/June?}. Unfortunately reality hit when I clicked on over to ShopBop and saw it was $398!!! So not in my budget 
Ah well, it happens. Champagne taste on a soda pop budget 
You can bet I’ll be on the lookout for something similar, or even fabric so I can sew one.

It’s a beautiful dress, and since you can sew it would be awesome to make it yourself. I always wish I knew how to sew, it’s on my life-list to learn!!
