Ok, I totally wasn’t exaggerating when I said I was a bit obsessed with that wallpaper. So much so, that even after spending a very exhausting day with a grumpy preschooler and a fussy teething baby, I HAD to stay up and quickly put together a design scheme for Carys’s room based on that lovely wallpaper!
Here it is (click for larger view):
And here is my girl (at 3 months, though she is now a big girl of 14 months!) who I’m decorating it for (can’t resist posting pictures of her whenever I can find the excuse!):

Thoughts? I’m off to bed so leave me your comments and ideas to enjoy with my morning coffee!

LOVE it all, lucky Carys!! Makes me soooo excited to get home and start decorating:)
She looks like she will enjoy and appreciate such a stunning bedroom! Lucky little girl. I want that bedroom too!
Have a great weekend!
Great color! She might as well have a pink bedroom now ’cause when she grows up and gets married her husband will never go for that color scheme!…….about that rescued wooden headboard in the garage?????
It’s gorgeous! I can’t wait to see pictures of the finished product.
Gorgeous!
So glad to see that you are not doing a typical babies room.
I love wallpaper in a little girls room, because its nice for them to have a place to nest.

Love the design board Karla!! It’s true, she is a lucky (and adorable) little sweetie
I love the feel of all those elements together, very fresh and a tad grown-up. I want that dresser in MY bedroom!
And I die for the white headboard. It might be kinda nice in a white leather so any messes could wipe up in a cinch (imagine faux alligator or ostrich, the texture would be delicious)!
wow, you’ve really thought this out carefully!
Can’t wait to see how this translates to the real deal
[...] I plan to pop it in an antique gold frame I already have. I think it will look great with her room scheme. [...]
Wow Karla! The room is perfectly suited for such a beautiful and soft-spirited little girl as Carys. It’s going to be lovely.
Gorgeous room for a gorgeous little girl! She’s so sweet, Karla! Will definitely need to enlist your help with our little girl’s room soon after the downstairs is complete. I am all over the place when it comes to ideas for her room. So many sweet little things out there!
